ROVO SURF 3640 German Design Award Winner 2022

The German Design Award is the premium award of the German Design Council. With its worldwide spectrum and international appeal, it is one of the most prestigious awards in the design scene across all industries. Back-active sitting with ROVO SURF, the range of motion and the extraordinary movement dynamics convinced the jury, as also the design with the striking base.

SURF is a completely new development that ROVO created with the designer Henner Jahns. Characteristic features are the saddle seat and the two ERGO BALANCE movement elements for 3-D sitting. SURF activates and invigorates like hardly any other office chair. You sit firmly in the saddle and transfer every movement directly to the stool, which absorbs it and returns it dynamically.

In recognition of its entrepreneurial performance in the field of ergonomics, ROVO was one of the first companies to be awarded the Ergonomics Innovation Prize by the IGR Institut für Gesundheit und Ergonomie e.V. on 3 December.

After winning the "Good Design Award", our TWIST has now also been awarded as "German Design Award Winner 2020".
